Title Quests

Introduction
Title quests are a way for characters to earn an IC title based on their roleplay. They only show up in your whois or the full who list but players also use them in other IC capacities. These are usually handled by Questor imms.

Players above level 50 may request a prefix before their name in the who
list after completing a quest. Those interested should contact the
immortals. Please request the title on the REQUEST board, in character,
with the reasons given for your choice and why it fits your character's RP.
When requesting a title, choose something that fits your long term rp
plans. If you later decide to change your rp, you are allowed to request a
new quest in the following situations:
If you finished your original quest, you are entitled to request a new
quest just like someone who doesn't yet have a title. If the rp change is
minor, and you just want to change a part of the title (for example, you
remorted, and want the title to reflect your remort race in some way), the
quest might be shorter, as you won't have to prove everything from scratch
again.
If such minor changes happen while you are still working on your quest,
contact the imm who made the quest - chances are it can be changed to
reflect the changes.
If you didn't finish your original quest, you may only request a new quest
if your rp has changed in a way that makes completing the original quest
impossible. Also, one full year must have passed since you got the original
quest. When requesting a new quest for these reasons, you must be able to
explain in character both how and why your character has changed, and
why these changes make the original quest impossible for you. If you can't
provide a good ic explanation for the changes (or you just changed your rp
without any ic reason), you won't get a new quest. This is not a way to get
rid of a quest you don't like, it is a way for people whose rp has changed
due to ic circumstances to get a new chance at a title. Title quests take
some time to set up, allow a week at least please. If you request a second
quest, you may have to wait longer, because people getting their first
quests will be given priority.
Title quests are difficult! Why? Because having a title is a privilege. If
it was meant to be easy every player would have some self-appointed title.
If you are having difficulties with your quest discuss it with the IMM who
created your quest. Discuss, NOT complain please! And finally, unless the
IMM who created your quest goes officially inactive (Arawn sends out a
note) please don't IMM-shop about your quest. Please note: You must be
level 50 to request a quest whether you are a remort or not. If you request
your TITLE prior to remort, discuss with the IMM who created the quest as
to whether or not remorting will void your quest. In any case, you can't
have the title before you've reached level 50 again, even if you finish the
quest earlier.
An appropriate title to quest for is in-character (ONLY IC prefixes will be
approved and given), does not contain slang words, and consists of text
only, with no ascii art or special characters.
Also, please be realistic about the title that you request. Titles that
include words like King or Queen are difficult to attain because PCs are
not of such specific 'noble blood.'
